DAY 22---AT SEA ENROUTE TO SANTO DOMINGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

LAST NIGHT:

Panko coated shrimp as our appetizer was great.  We decided to order them as our entrees next time they appeared on the menu, if not before.

The chicken kiev was way over cooked.  Nothing new as seems most entrees are.  Loved the vegetable risotto however.  Sent it back and had them bring me some beef stir fry (what Rebecca was eating).

We were disturbed as it seems Compass Rose head waiters are not enforcing the dress code.  Just a few violaters.

                                Andy and Tammy's show was best yet of all entertainers so far.

TODAY:

Our position at noon today is sailing off the west coast of the Dominican Republic and east coast of Puerto Rico.  Smooth sailing last night and again today.  Temperature is a pleasant 79 degrees.

                                  We got our new world cruise magnetic door plaque today.

So the three plaques above the suite number are our 2010, 2017, and 2022 world cruises.  On the right are our two 72 night "Circle South America" grand cruise plaques and our 78 night Beijing to London grand cruise plaque.

        Dara was a few doors down delivering room service.  I think she was delivering to the new crew members who are being isolated for 10 days before they can work.  That's why the plastic apron. 

         At noon in La Veranda one of the waitresses, whom shall remain anonymous, told us they are only allowed 14 minutes to dine in the crew mess and have a drink in the crew bar with their masks down.  So they have to eat fast and get out.  There are cameras everywhere on the ship monitoring compliance.

        We are very excited as our son, Jeff, emailed to tell us he got the time off in October to do the 9 night cruise with us.  So I just went down to have Daniela complete his booking.

        This evening at 6pm there is a cocktail party with canapes for the world cruise passengers in the theater.  We will be receiving our WC commemorative pin.  We will be dining later in Sette Mari with Marcia.  Needing some Italian food tonight.

        Hope to be docking at 8am tomorrow morning in Santo Domingo.  Very know these days however.
