                                                                Rainbow this morning
Our noon position--south of Cuba & north of Jamaica.  80 degrees outside with the ship rocking some due to swells.
                                                              Seafood stew for my lunch.
I had a 3:30 appointment this afternoon with Daniela, the cruise sales person.  We wanted to get the price for a Barcelona to Miami 14 night cruise, the very first cruise on Regent's new ship, GRANDEUR,  coming out November 25, 2023.  After it arrives in Miami it will be christened and then a 4 night inaugural  cruise.  We will be "diamond status (over 1000 nights on Regent) by then and will get an invitation to the christening and cruise.  Free!!  Booking on board is a good deal as the deposit is only $1000.  Well, now we have to mull it over.  We would be getting back to Durango on December 15th, 3 weeks before we will be leaving for the 2024 world cruise.
This evening's plan is for pre-dinner cocktails in the Mariner Lounge then going up to Sette Mari, Italian restaurant, for dinner.  Veal Parmesan for me tonight!  Also planning on going to the show which is featuring Jerry, a ventriloquist and Andrea, a tango dancer.  Liked Jerry's earlier show.  Have not seen Andrea yet.
Tomorrow will be another sea day.  Looking out now at 4:45 I can see the Cuba coast line.  Wish we were going there.  Short post today!!

HOMEWARD BOUND

LAST NIGHT We had cocktails in the Mariner Lounge with Marcia, Burt, Richard, Harvey, and Gudrun (sales consultant).  Then up to Sette Mar...
