YESTERDAY:

It was Sunday so I had caviar at breakfast.  I asked for a double order and got several orders.  Eggs benedict came next.
This is the shoe holder we got at Walmart.  Really helps as too many shoes on closet floor before.

LAST NIGHT:

Dinner with Marcia in Prime 7.
Prime 7 was almost empty last night.  Only two other couples dining there besides the three of us.
Emilliano, the head sommelier, sent us a special red wine to enjoy.  Budi, sommelier, is pouring it from the decanter.
Dominic, the maitre 'd, is checking out the wine too.
I enjoyed a crap cake for my appetizer.  Very good.
Rebecca had this 10 ounce filet.
Of course I had my popcorn sundae as usual.
Waiting for the show to start.  We are on the second row (front row blocked) center.
Production show is titled, "Broadway", featuring the cast member singers.

It was a fantastic show.  Super talented singers.  Standing ovation by audience.

TODAY:

Theme of this world cruise should be "standby to standby"!!  Well, another change this morning when we arrived at Grand Stirrup Cay.  The Captain came on PA to inform us that the local authorities were not going to let us get off here.  Reason:  Covid on our ship!  Although there are not that many cases with only 140 passengers on board for this segment, the percentage of cases was too high.
So the Captain and GM had to contact Regent operations in Miami to see what they wanted our ship to do.  A couple hours later the Captain came on the PA again to say that the company had confirmed we could not call on this port.  So now we are heading for our next port of call, Port Royal, Jamaica (Kingston).  We will now be having two days days at sea.
Yesterday in Miami we had gotten a revised itinerary.  Now not going to Aruba.  Last segment we were denied stopping at Montego Bay, Jamaica, so I'm wondering if Port Royal will allow us there on Wednesday.  Hopefully some of our covid cases will be allowed out of their 10 day quarantine soon.

Our position at noon shows us sailing out of the Bahamas and enroute now to Jamaica   Temperature is
70 degrees.  We have some small swells today causing a little motion.  Not bad however.
I had some of this roasted turkey in La Veranda for lunch.  I got a bun from the pool grill and made a turkey sandwich.
Our new stewardesses:  Ragille and Karren.
All afternoon in the distance I can see Eleuthera Island (a very long, narrow island).  I went down for a 4:30 appointment with the cruise consultant, Daniela, to cancel our mid July Southampton to Reykjavik cruise and book a Sept 25th Vancouver to LA (Alaska) cruise.  We have been hearing an occasional noise somewhere below us today.  Like a pump running but not for very long.  Hope it doesn't happen tonight.
I watched a very strange movie this afternoon and Rebecca napped a short time.  Getting ready now for pre-dinner cocktails then dinner in Compass Rose.  The show tonight is featuring headliner entertainer, Linda Gentille.  Her shows include singing, comedy, and memory tricks.  We have seen her perform on a previous cruise.  Planning on her show tonight.

HOMEWARD BOUND

LAST NIGHT We had cocktails in the Mariner Lounge with Marcia, Burt, Richard, Harvey, and Gudrun (sales consultant).  Then up to Sette Mar...
