LAST NIGHT:

                                                                   Sunset in Bahamas
Dinner in Compass Rose with Marcia.  Head sommelier, Emilliano
Our waiter, Sherwin, took a selfie with us.
                                                    Blazing Boots production show.

The cast of the show is amazing.  Very talented group of singers and dancers.  Looking forward to more of their shows.

TODAY:

Between 7am and 11am they are administering antigen covid tests to us passengers who will be staying on in Miami tomorrow for the next segment.  They tested the crew yesterday.  I went down at 7:30 on my way to Coffee Connection for Rebecca's coffee and got my test.  No line and result in 5 minutes.  NEGATIVE!  I was not supposed to take this photo.  Rebecca tested NEGATIVE also later this morning.
Smooth sailing early today as we approached Great Stirrup Cay.

Yellow arrow in red circle at bottom of this photo shows where Great Stirrup Cay is in relation to Grand Bahamas.  Basically due south.

I'm not sure but guessing these two large cruise ships are without passengers and not back in service yet.  Probably NCL ships awaiting to be put back in service.
Those going ashore today are using these island large tenders.  We are not going ashore.  Seems my finger got in the photo.  I did not want to accidently drop my phone overboard.  The ship is having a shore side BBQ for lunch.
Ok, what happens if someone tests positive for covid during the cruise?  They are quarantined in their suite for 10 days.  Their meals are delivered via room service and placed on the tray table (pictured above).  Then they ring the door bell and leave.  The person opens the door and takes the tray of food into their suite.  When finished they place the tray back outside their door.  Their suite is not serviced by the stewardess.

Once again this weekend we will be getting the NFL playoff games on our suite tv.  Today we will get the Bengals vs Titans game then tonight the 49ers vs Packers game.
We will be pulling up the anchor and departing here at 6:30 this evening.  We are scheduled to arrive in the port of Miami at 6am tomorrow.  Disembarkation for those not continuing will commence around 8:30.  Everyone, including those continuing on the next segment like us, will also have to get off and clear US Customs & Immigration.  Our Miami friends, Mario & Josee, will be picking us up around 9:30 and taking us shopping at Walmart, Sams Club, and Ulta.
We hope to be back on board around noon.  We will be moving to a suite down on deck 7 midship where we were supposed to be in the first place.  Regent made us move to deck 9 a week before the cruise.  The stewardesses will be moving us.  We have never moved before when on a cruise so this will be interesting.  Why are we choosing to move??  Because the ride during rough seas is much better on the lower deck, midship.
So tomorrow will be a busy day.  I will put the next segment's schedule on tomorrow post.

HOMEWARD BOUND

LAST NIGHT We had cocktails in the Mariner Lounge with Marcia, Burt, Richard, Harvey, and Gudrun (sales consultant).  Then up to Sette Mar...
