DAY 81---COXUMEL, MEXICO

Our position today is docked at Cozumel.  Sunny skies and 80 degrees but seems much cooler sitting out on the balcony this morning.

LAST NIGHT:

        We did not go to the 6:15 (early) production show.  Hung out in the Horizon Lounge with some friends instead.  Dinner in Compass Rose was not pleasant.  I wish there were some American chefs (maybe even Canadian for Marcia) at Regent corporate so they could make recipes that we are used to.  Do any of you make a dark brown gravy to go with Thanksgiving turkey and dressing?  Regent does.  I'm guessing it is a French thing. Every time I order the turkey dinner I say no dark brown gravy but normal turkey gravy.  Every time I get the dark brown stuff.  So I asked the head waiter if I could speak with the chef.  He never came so I said, "I'm done with this dinner", got up and left the dining room.  As I got up the restaurant manager, Nino, showed up but I told him I was not talking and continued out.  I woke up at 2am and was still pissed so laid there awake for two hours.  If it was a one time occurrence I could live with it.

        I decided against going for Sunday's caviar & champagne breakfast today.  Instead I had a bite of a donut as I was interested in food.

        I went to the gym today but decided after 30 minutes that I was still experiencing some concussion symptoms.  So I will rest for a couple more days.  My eyes are a little black and swollen.  Still not feeling 100% either.

        I wanted to go ashore and walk around some here in Cozumel but will just sit out on the balcony.

I decided to stay in and ordered room service for lunch.  Had some nice onion soup and this very good tuna sandwich.

        They are having a Tex Mex buffet this evening at the pool grill.  Every other day it seems they have Indian food at lunch in La Veranda.  Not my cup of tea.  Rarely do they have Mexican food though.  We do not care for the Compass Rose dinner menu entrees so ordered panko coated tiger prawns.  I may go up and bring some Tex Mex food down to the dining room however.

        They have scheduled another early show for 6:15 this evening.  It is featuring the recently boarded headliner entertainer, Tim Able.  He is billed as a piano showman.  Will catch his next show in a few days time.  They plan to show the Academy Awards later in the theater.  We don't do early shows and could care less about the Academy Awards show as it usually turns into a liberal forum for the stars.

        We will be sailing at 7pm this evening for a short cruise down to Costa Maya, Mexico.  Yes, we were there on February 18th.  We are to docked there by 8am tomorrow.
