They stopped and dropped anchor at Great Stirrup Cay early this morning.  At 8:15 the Captain announced that due to the wind and waves tendering ashore was not safe and today would be a day at sea.  We were sailing again by 8:30.  Not sure why we just did not stay at anchor today instead slow cruise to no where.  Delaying for our docking at the Port of Miami tomorrow morning.

LAST NIGHT:

                                                                 Formal optional dress.
Cocktails in Mariner Lounge with Marcia.
                                                   Our drinks with jalapeno poppers.
Our waiter in Compass Rose was Sheshank.  At noon time he takes peoples orders at the pool grill.  I order my Buffalo wings occasionally with him.
                                                           Jay-P was our assistant waiter.
Our three wine sommeliers were:  Joeydeep, Buda, and Richard.  (L to R)  They are poorly trying to do the three monkeys thing.
                                                                 Huge beef Wellington.
We asked for a lobster thermidor to share as we wanted to taste it.
Their idea of baked Alaska.  We were running late to make it to the show so I did not eat it.

Another great performance by David Meyer.

TODAY:

This morning between 7 and 9am they tested all the passengers for covid (nasal swab) for our arrival in Miami.  Rebecca and I had "negative" test results.  There are some passengers with covid now.  Not sure how many but at least 2.  Must have gotten it on a tour.
We have another "new" noise occurring in our suite today.  They never did fix the other noises we are still hearing occasionally.  This noise started this morning, stopped for a couple hours when we came back from lunch, and started again at 2:30 this afternoon.  I went to Reception and asked for someone to come right away to hear it.  I waited for them down on deck 6 below our suite.  While I was waiting for them down there no one showed up.  When I got back to the suite Rebecca said two guys came and did hear the noise.  They left to track the noise down but now it has stopped again.
Mariner will be docked at the Port of Miami tomorrow as it is the end of the 3rd segment of this world cruise.  Several more world cruisers will be disembarking tomorrow since we will not be going to the Amazon on the next segment.  Not for sure but I have heard 100 people will be disembarking and 130 will be boarding.  I'll try to find out how many total will be on board after we sail tomorrow.  Several of our friends will be leaving tomorrow so will try to say bye to them this evening.
Marge and Judy will be disembarking tomorrow as were on for just this current segment.  We have known Marge for several years and she will be on next year's world cruise with us.  In fact she will be in the suite we are in this year.  Marge will be on the safari I have arranged for next year while rounding South Africa.  Marcia and us will be having cocktails and dinner with them this evening.  Cocktails up in the Observation Lounge followed by dinner in Sette Mari.  Marcia and I have requested the chef prepare veal parmesan for the two of us.
As with the last night on all Regent cruises, the production cast is doing a "Beetles Dance Party" after dinner in the Horizon Lounge.  Probably not going.

HOMEWARD BOUND

LAST NIGHT We had cocktails in the Mariner Lounge with Marcia, Burt, Richard, Harvey, and Gudrun (sales consultant).  Then up to Sette Mar...
