TODAY:

Our noon position heading east towards Barbados.  Mostly sunny and 80 degrees today.
Daniela, our cruise consultant, is making a future cruise presentation in the theater at 11am.
There was a seafood buffet at the pool grill at noon today.  This is a whole, salt crusted salmon.  I did not try it but should have.  I had the seafood stew.

We received a letter last evening saying that Barbados had canceled the requirement for those going ashore there to take a covid antigen test.  You have to be on a Regent tour however.  No roaming around there on your own.  I had turned my tour ticket back in a long time ago so went down and booked that tour again.  Not touring tomorrow but the next day as we are spending two days there.
We learned at dinner last night that our friend from Cincinnati, Susan Peter's, mother had passed away.  We have invited her to dine with us tonight as did not want her to have to dine alone now.  This evening at 6pm in the theater is the Seven Seas Society party.  It is formal optional dress for tonight so I will dig out my dinner jacket.  Always on Seven Seas Society night in Compass Rose is our very favorite Regent menu item: miso glazed sea bass.
Tonight's show is featuring our assistant cruise director, Richard Ruben.  We did not go to his first show but later heard it was a really good show.  So we plan on attending tonight.
Well, we are to dock in Bridgetown on Barbados by 8am tomorrow and will be there for two days.

HOMEWARD BOUND

LAST NIGHT We had cocktails in the Mariner Lounge with Marcia, Burt, Richard, Harvey, and Gudrun (sales consultant).  Then up to Sette Mar...
